Animal Center

The Animal Center raises Japanese Monkeys, cats, rabbits, rats, mice, Xenopus, red-bellied newts, and also rare rodents and birds. Each animal room is independently controlled so that the temperature, humidity, pressure, and other environmental factors are appropriate for these animals. Moreover, all of the animals are regularly checked for their health condition and for the prevention of any transmissible infection.

The animal Center also has the facilities for animal disease control and experiments, e.g. an operating room, examination rooms, and X-ray equipment.
